Warik Blake
Creative Technologist / Product Designer
Designing products. Building tools. Solving interesting problems.
I've always been more interested in building useful things than following trends.
How I work

Serato
Design systems for a global music technology brand.
At Serato, I worked across UI design, product visuals, brand systems, advertising, packaging, and production-ready assets for professional DJ software used by a large international user base.
The work demanded clarity, consistency, and durability across both software and brand touchpoints.
Much of that foundation is still visible in the product and visual language today.

Music & Visuals
The messy creative side.
I’ve been involved in a bunch of music projects over the years, including The Sorecocks, Warax, Toxic Glitter, and Wariq.
The music usually brings everything else with it: artwork, video, websites, visuals, identity, production, and whatever else needs making.
A lot of how I think creatively comes from this world.

About
Design, music, software, and a habit of making things.
I’ve spent my career moving between creative work and technical systems — from music software and interface design to surf forecasting, conservation mapping, and independent product development.
I’m at my best when I’m solving real problems, building useful tools, and working with people who care about the details.
